THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACHIEVEMENT AND ANALYTICAL READING ABILITY BY USING LITERATURE CIRCLES FOR SECOND-YEAR STUDENTS OF THAI STUDIES PROGRAM, VIETNAM NATIONAL UNIVERSITY, HANOI

Abstract

The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to develop academic achievement using Literature Circles learning management for second-year students to reach an average score of 75% and have at least 75% of students pass the criteria; 2) to develop analytical reading ability using Literature Circles learning management for sophomore students to reach an average score of 75% and have at least 75% of students pass the criteria. The research design employed purposive sampling. The target group for this research consisted of 24 second-year students majoring in Thai Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, VNU-University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi, during the second semester of the 2026 academic year. The research instruments included lesson learning plans using Literature Circles management totaling 12 hours, a learning achievement test, and an analytical reading ability test. Data were analyzed using mean (,x.), Standard Deviation (S.D.), and Percentage. The research findings revealed that 22 second-year students majoring in Thai Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, passed the academic achievement criteria with an average score of 25.88, representing 86.25% of the full score. Furthermore, regarding analytical reading ability, the students obtained an average score of 33.75, accounting for 84.38% of the total number of students.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ ดังนี้ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนโดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวงจรวรรณกรรม สำหรับนักศึกษาปีที่ 2 ให้มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยร้อยละ 75 และมีนักศึกษาผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 ขึ้นไป 2) เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถการอ่านเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้ การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวงจรวรรณกรรม สำหรับนักศึกษาปีที่ 2 ให้มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยร้อยละ 75 และมีนักศึกษาผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 ขึ้นไป รูปแบบการวิจัยใช้วิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) กลุ่มเป้าหมายของการวิจัยนี้คือ นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2 สาขาไทยศึกษา คณะตะวันออกศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ สังกัดมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติเวียดนาม กรุงฮานอย จำนวน 24 คน ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2569 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวงจรวรรณกรรม จำนวน 6 แผน รวมเวลา 12 ชั่วโมง แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน และแบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถการอ่านเชิงวิเคราะห์ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย (,x.) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) และค่าร้อยละ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2 สาขาไทยศึกษา คณะตะวันออกศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ สังกัดมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติเวียดนาม กรุงฮานอยมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ 22 คนโดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 25.88 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 86.25 ของคะแนนเต็ม และนักศึกษามีความสามารถด้านการอ่านเชิงวิเคราะห์ นักศึกษามีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 33.75 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 84.38 ของจำนวนนักศึกษา
