Abstract

This thesis entitled "Moral and ethical promotion of students based on threefold training in Satri Wat Rakhang School, Bangkok" aims to: 1) study the current moral and ethical status of students at Satri Wat Rakhang School; 2) study the Buddhist principles in enhancing morality and ethics at Satri Wat Rakhang School; and 3) enhance the morality and ethics of students at Satri Wat Rakhang School, Bangkok. This is a qualitative field research study using in-depth interviews to collect qualitative data from 17 key informants (individuals). Data was analyzed using content analysis, and the research results are presented descriptively. The research findings indicate that: 1) The majority of students at Satri Wat Rakhang School possess a good foundation in morality and ethics and exhibit appropriate behavior according to the school's standards based on discipline, responsibility, gratitude, respect for parents and teachers, humility, Respect, harmony, and public spirit. 2) Buddhist principles that can be applied to enhance morality and ethics at Satri Wat Rakhang School include the Threefold Training (Trisikha), which strengthens students' morality and ethics in body, speech, and mind, and the related other principles, i.e., gratitude, tolerance, loving kindness and dread and shame of wrongdoing, which can promote the development of students' thoughts, minds, and behaviors in the right direction 3) The application of the Threefold Training and related principles to enhance morality and ethics among students at Satri Wat Rakhang School could promote systematically strengthen students' morality and ethics. This is a process of human development from within to without, enabling students to learn through "knowing, understanding, practicing, and making it a habit." As a result, students possess morality and ethics for living correctly and appropriately, can coexist happily with others in society, and become well-rounded human beings. The body of knowledge from this research is called the BKUPH Model, which involves having knowledge, understanding, and practicing until behavioral change becomes a habit, creating a good example like a resounding bell.

งานวิทยานิพนธ์ เรื่อง “การเสริมสร้างคุณธรรมจริยธรรมตามหลักไตรสิกขาของนักเรียนโรงเรียนสตรีวัดระฆัง กรุงเทพมหานคร” โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ ดังนี้ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพคุณธรรมจริยธรรมของนักเรียนโรงเรียนสตรีวัดระฆัง 2) เพื่อศึกษาหลักพุทธธรรมในการเสริมสร้างคุณธรรมจริยธรรม โรงเรียนสตรีวัดระฆัง 3) เพื่อเสริมสร้างคุณธรรมจริยธรรมของนักเรียนโรงเรียนสตรีวัดระฆัง กรุงเทพมหานคร เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ แบบวิจัยภาคสนาม โดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกเพื่อรวบรวมข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญจำนวน 17 รูป/ คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงเนื้อหาและนำเสนอผลการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) สภาพคุณธรรมจริยธรรมของนักเรียน โรงเรียนสตรีวัดระฆังของนักเรียนส่วนใหญ่มีพื้นฐานด้านคุณธรรมจริยธรรมดีและมีพฤติกรรมเหมาะสมตามมาตรฐานที่โรงเรียนกำหนด ได้แก่ ความมีระเบียบวินัย ความรับผิดชอบ ความกตัญญู ความเคารพต่อผู้ปกครองและครูอาจารย์ ความอ่อนน้อมถ่อมตน ความมีสัมมาคารวะ ความสามัคคี และการมีจิตสาธารณะ 2) หลักพุทธธรรมที่สามารถนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในในการเสริมสร้างคุณธรรมจริยธรรม โรงเรียนสตรีวัดระฆัง ได้แก่ หลักไตรสิกขา ซึ่งเป็นหลักธรรมที่ช่วยเสริมสร้างคุณธรรมจริยธรรมของนักเรียนทั้งทางกาย วาจา และจิตใจ และหลักความกตัญญูกตเวที ขันติธรรม เมตตาธรรม และหิริโอตตัปปะ ที่ช่วยส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนมีการพัฒนาความคิด จิตใจ และพฤติกรรมให้ดำเนินไปในทางที่ถูกต้อง 3) การใช้หลักไตรสิกขาและหลักธรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องเสริมสร้างคุณธรรมจริยธรรมตามหลักไตรสิกขาของนักเรียน โรงเรียนสตรีวัดระฆัง กรุงเทพมหานคร พบว่า ช่วยเสริมสร้างคุณธรรมจริยธรรมของนักเรียนได้อย่างเป็นระบบ โดยเป็นกระบวนการพัฒนามนุษย์จากภายในสู่ภายนอก ทำให้นักเรียนเกิดการเรียนรู้จากการ “รู้ เข้าใจ ปฏิบัติ และเป็นนิสัย” ส่งผลให้นักเรียนมีคุณธรรมจริยธรรมในการดำเนินชีวิตอย่างถูกต้องและเหมาะสม สามารถอยู่ร่วมกับผู้อื่นในสังคมได้อย่างมีความสุขช่วยให้เป็นมนุษย์ที่สมบูรณ์ องค์ความรู้จากการวิจัยนี้ เรียกว่า BKUPH Model คือ มีความรู้ ความเข้าใจและปฏิบัติจนเกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงพฤติกรรมจนเป็นนิสัยประจำตัว สร้างแบบอย่างที่ดีดุจดังระฆังที่ดังกังวาน
