THE ROLE OF TEMPLES AND COMMUNITY WAYS OF LIFE RESTORATION BASED ON APARIHANIYADHAMMA PRINCIPLE: A CASE STUDY OF PAK PHUN COMMUNITY, MUEANG DISTRICT, NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE

Abstract

The Research entitled “Restoration Role of Temples and Community Ways with the Principles of Ethics: A Case Study of Pak Phun Community, Mueang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province” aims to 1) Study the role of the temples in the Pak Phun community way, 2) Study the problem conditions of the community way according to the principles of ethics, and 3) analyze the approach to restore the role of temples and the community way by applying the principles of ethics. This research is qualitative research using in-depth interviews with religious leaders, community leaders, and people in the relevant Pak Phun community, as well as the study of data from documents and content analysis, to synthesize the data as a guide to restore the role of temples in accordance with the context of contemporary society The result showed that: 1. Temples play an important role in the way of the community in the fields of religion, society, culture, and education. Promoting morality and ethics, preserving local tradition, and building relationships with people in the community. Hower, social, economic, and technological changes as a result, the people, especially the youth, Participation in temple activities decreased. This weakens the role of temples in the community due to changing social conditions 2. The principle of ethics in Buddhism is a principle that promotes the prosperity and stability of the group, including: Constant meeting, unity in activities. Respect for rules and customs Honoring seniority, caring for and protecting members of society, and transmitting the virtues of people in the community, which are principles that can be applied appropriately in the development of relationships between temples and communities 3. Guidelines for restoring the role of temples and community ways with ethical principles, including promoting participation between temples, homes, and communities. Continuous organization of religious and cultural activities. Creating unity among people in the community, the development of the temple’s activities in line with the current social context and the cultivation of morality among the youth and the people, which will help the temple to become a psychological center and strengthen the community in a sustainable manner

การวิจัยเรื่อง “การฟื้นฟูบทบาทของวัดกับวิถีชุมชนด้วยหลักอปริหานิยธรรม : กรณีศึกษาชุมชนปากพูน อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาบทบาทของวัดที่มีต่อวิถีชุมชนปากพูน 2) ศึกษาสภาพปัญหาของวิถีชุมชนตามหลักอปริหานิยธรรม และ 3) วิเคราะห์แนวทางการฟื้นฟูบทบาทของวัดกับวิถีชุมชนโดยประยุกต์ใช้หลักอปริหานิยธรรม การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจากผู้นำศาสนา ผู้นำชุมชน และประชาชนในชุมชนปากพูนที่เกี่ยวข้อง รวมทั้งการศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสารและการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา เพื่อนำข้อมูลมาสังเคราะห์เป็นแนวทางในการฟื้นฟูบทบาทของวัดให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทของสังคมร่วมสมัย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า : 1. วัดมีบทบาทสำคัญต่อวิถีชุมชนในด้านศาสนา สังคม วัฒนธรรม และการศึกษา โดยเป็นศูนย์กลางในการประกอบพิธีกรรมทางศาสนา การส่งเสริมคุณธรรมจริยธรรม การอนุรักษ์ประเพณีท้องถิ่น และการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ของคนในชุมชน อย่างไรก็ตาม การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคม เศรษฐกิจ และเทคโนโลยี ส่งผลให้ประชาชน โดยเฉพาะเยาวชน มีส่วนร่วมกับกิจกรรม ของวัดลดลง ทำให้บทบาทของวัดในชุมชนอ่อนตัวลงตามสภาพสังคมที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป 2. หลักอปริหานิยธรรมในพระพุทธศาสนาเป็นหลักธรรมที่ส่งเสริมความเจริญและความมั่นคงของหมู่คณะ ประกอบด้วย การประชุมกันเนืองนิตย์ การพร้อมเพรียงกันในการทำกิจกรรม การเคารพกฎระเบียบและขนบธรรมเนียม การให้เกียรติอาวุโส การดูแลคุ้มครองสมาชิกในสังคม และการส่งเริมคุณธรรมของบุคคลในชุมชน ซึ่งเป็นหลักธรรมที่สามารถประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัดกับบชุมชนได้อย่างเหมาะสม 3. แนวทางการฟื้นฟูบทบาทของวัดกับวิถีชุมชนด้วยหลักอปริหานิยธรรม ได้แก่ การส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมระหว่างวัด บ้าน และชุมชน การจัดกิจกรรมทางศาสนาและวัฒนธรรมอย่างต่อเนื่อง การสร้างความสามัคคีของคนในชุมชน การพัฒนากิจกรรมของวัดให้สอดคล้อง กับบริบทสังคมปัจจุบัน และการปลูกฝังคุณธรรมแก่เยาวชนและประชาชน ซึ่งจะช่วยให้วัดสามารถกลับมาเป็นศูนย์กลางทางจิตใจและสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้แก่ชุมชนได้อย่างยั่งยืน
