INTEGRATING THE MAIN PRINCIPLES OF THERAVADA BUDDHIST PHILOSOPHY APPEAR IN THE LITERATURE OF SALA KHUNAWUTI, WHICH AFFECTS THE BALANCED WAY OF LIFE OF THE PEOPLE OF UBON RATCHATHANI PROVINCE

Abstract

This dissertation aims to: 1) to study theoretical concepts regarding literature and life; 2) to study Theravada Buddhist philosophy as reflected in Sala Khunawut musical works; 3) to integrate Theravada Buddhist philosophy as reflected in Sala Khunawut musical works and how it contributes to the balanced lives of the people of Ubon Ratchathani Province; and 4) to present knowledge about the integration of Theravada Buddhist philosophy as reflected in Sala Khunawut musical works and how it contributes to the balanced lives of the people of Ubon Ratchathani Province. This qualitative research utilized document analysis and related research, along with field data collection through in-depth interviews with 20 experts. The data were analyzed, synthesized, and presented descriptively. The research findings reveal : 1. Theories on literature and life agree that literature serves as a reflection of life, a social lesson, a psychological tool, and a means of cultivating morality. This enables people to live a balanced life in all dimensions, including personal, family, love, and society. 2. The musical works of Khru Sala Khunawut reflect Theravada Buddhist philosophy through the Four Sanghavatthu, which fosters warmth in the family; the Four Lay Dhammas, which nurture love based on sincerity, patience, and sacrifice; and the Five Strengths, which provide the strength to overcome life's challenges. This makes the songs not just entertainment, but also a way of life that helps listeners achieve a balance between family, love, and encouragement. 3. The musical works of Khru Sala Khunawut are not only expressions of emotion, but also cultural tools that cultivate Dhamma principles that listeners can apply in practice, including building a warm family, maintaining strong love, and fostering encouragement in the face of obstacles. 4. The new knowledge known as the "LSB MODEL" model: L = Love with Virtue, referring to virtuous love based on the Four Lay Dhammas; S = Supportive Family, referring to family support based on the Four Sanghavatthu; and B = Balance through Inner Strength, referring to creating a balance in life through the Five Strengths. These three dimensions demonstrate that Khru Sala's songs are more than just entertainment. But it also serves as a symbolic force that guides listeners toward a balanced and morally stable life.

ดุษฎีนิพนธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิดทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับวรรณกรรมและการดำเนินชีวิต 2) เพื่อศึกษาหลักพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาทที่ปรากฏในวรรณกรรมเพลงของสลา คุณวุฒิ 3) เพื่อบูรณาการหลักพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาทที่ปรากฏในวรรณกรรมเพลงของสลา คุณวุฒิ ที่ส่งผลต่อการดำเนินชีวิตอย่างสมดุลของประชาชนจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี และ 4) เพื่อนำเสนอองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับบูรณาการหลักพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาทที่ปรากฏในวรรณกรรมเพลงของสลา คุณวุฒิ ที่ส่งผลต่อการดำเนินชีวิตอย่างสมดุลของประชาชนจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ประกอบกับการเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนามผ่านการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก จากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 20 รูป/คน ข้อมูลที่ได้ถูกนำมาวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ และนำเสนอในเชิงพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า : 1. ทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับวรรณกรรมและการดำเนินชีวิตเห็นร่วมกันว่า วรรณกรรมเป็นทั้งภาพสะท้อนชีวิต บทเรียนทางสังคม เครื่องมือทางจิตวิทยา และสื่อปลูกฝังคุณธรรม อันช่วยให้มนุษย์สามารถดำเนินชีวิตได้อย่างสมดุลทั้งในมิติส่วนตัว ครอบครัว ความรัก และสังคม 2. วรรณกรรมเพลงของครูสลา คุณวุฒิ สะท้อนหลักพุทธปรัชญาเถรวาทผ่าน สังคหวัตถุ 4 ที่เสริมสร้างความอบอุ่นในครอบครัว ฆราวาสธรรม 4 ที่ทำให้ความรักตั้งอยู่บนความจริงใจ อดทน และเสียสละ และ พละ 5 ที่เป็นพลังใจในการต่อสู้ชีวิต ทำให้เพลงมิได้เป็นเพียงความบันเทิง แต่เป็นแนวทางชีวิตที่ช่วยให้ผู้ฟังดำเนินชีวิตได้อย่างสมดุลทั้งด้านครอบครัว ความรัก และกำลังใจ 3. วรรณกรรมเพลงของสลา คุณวุฒิ มิได้เป็นเพียงการถ่ายทอดอารมณ์ความรู้สึก หากยังเป็นเครื่องมือทางวัฒนธรรมที่บ่มเพาะหลักธรรมให้ผู้ฟังสามารถนำไปปรับใช้ได้จริง ทั้งการสร้างครอบครัวที่อบอุ่น การรักษาความรักที่มั่นคง และการสร้างกำลังใจในการเผชิญอุปสรรค 4. องค์ความรู้ใหม่ที่ได้เรียกว่า “L.S.B MODEL” โมเดล L = Love with Virtue หมายถึง ความรักเชิงคุณธรรมตามหลักฆราวาสธรรม 4, S = Supportive Family หมายถึง ความเกื้อกูลในครอบครัวตามหลักสังคหวัตถุ 4, และ B = Balance through Inner Strength หมายถึง การสร้างสมดุลชีวิตด้วยพละ 5 ทั้งสามมิตินี้สะท้อนให้เห็นว่า บทเพลงของครูสลามีคุณค่ามากกว่าศิลปะบันเทิง แต่ยังเป็นพลังเชิงสัญลักษณ์ที่นำพาผู้ฟังสู่การดำเนินชีวิตที่สมดุลและมั่นคงทางคุณธรรม
