AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF THE VALUE OF TRADITIONAL MERIT OF HEET SIBSONG

Abstract

The objective of this thesis was : 1) To study the tradition merit of Heet Sibsong. 2) To study the value of the tradition merit of Heet Sibsong. 3) To analytical the value of the tradition merit of Heet Sibsong. This is documentary research. The research results are summarized and analyzed for the value of the tradition merit of Heet Sibsong.

The research results found that

The tradition merit of the Heet Sibsong is practiced and passed down by combining the traditions of making merit that occur every month of the year with the concepts of Buddhism, Brahmanism and ghosts. Originally, the belief in ghosts, demons, spirits, guardian angels and sacred objects influenced life from birth to death. When religion entered the Isan region of Thailand, the beliefs and rituals changed. The importance of the twelve rituals is to learn about various practices, have a good and happy way of life and to conserve the value of social relationships and the way of life of villagers who live together in a way that is mutually beneficial and supports each other. Social relationships, relationships between families and families help instill and refine the mind so that children grow up to be good people with morality. The relationship between home and temple, which is the center, the spirit, the place where the event is held, and the relationship between ethics and aesthetics, thoughts, decisions and choices.

The components of the religious ceremony play an important role in helping to promote, namely, creating a mental feeling for stability and safety that can continue living, creating value in terms of aesthetics and ethics in the role of a mental feeling that is stable and safe, being a tool of society, preserving, enjoying beauty and the role of local arts and culture.

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้ 1) เพื่อศึกษาบุญประเพณีฮีตสิบสอง 2) เพื่อศึกษาคุณค่าของบุญประเพณีฮีตสิบสอง 3) เพื่อวิเคราะห์คุณค่าของบุญประเพณีฮีตสิบสอง เป็นการวิจัยเอกสาร (Documentary Research) ผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาค้นคว้าเอกสาร สรุปผลการวิจัยวิเคราะห์คุณค่าของบุญประเพณีฮีตสิบสองผลการวิจัยพบว่า บุญประเพณีฮีตสิบสอง เป็นบุญพิธีที่ปฏิบัติประจำแต่ละเดือนในรอบปีสืบทอดต่อเนื่องมาโดยนำวัฒนธรรมประเพณีความเชื่อประสมประสานระหว่างพุทธศาสนา พราหมณ์และความเชื่อเรื่องภูตผีปีศาจ วิญญาณ เปรตเทวดาอารักษ์ สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ มีอิทธิพลต่อวิถีชีวิตของชาวอีสานตั้งแต่เกิดจนตาย เมื่อความเชื่อทางพุทธศาสนามากขึ้นพิธีกรรมจึงเปลี่ยนไป ความสำคัญของฮีตสิบสองเพื่อได้รับทราบจุดหมายของบุญพิธีแนวปฏิบัติต่าง ๆ เพื่อวิถีชีวิตที่อยู่ดีมีสุขและเป็นการอนุรักษ์ เกิดคุณค่าเป็นความสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมและวิถีชีวิตชาวบ้านที่อยู่กันแบบถ้อยทีถ้อยอาศัยและเกื้อกูลกัน เกิดความสัมพันธ์ทางสังคม ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างครอบครัว พร้อมกับการปลูกฝังและขัดเกลาจิตใจให้ลูกหลานได้เติบโตเป็นคนดีมีศีลธรรม ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบ้านกับวัดที่เป็นศูนย์กลาง จิตวิญญาณ สถานที่จัดงาน และ ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างจริยธรรมกับสุนทรีย์ ความคิด การตัดสินใจและการเลือกปฏิบัติองค์ประกอบในบุญพิธีมีส่วนสำคัญในการช่วยส่งเสริม คือสร้างความรู้สึกทางจิตใจเพื่อความมั่นคงและปลอดภัยที่สามารถดำเนินชีวิตต่อไปได้ เกิดคุณค่าในด้านสุนทรียศาสตร์ และจริยศาตร์ ในบทบาทความรู้สึกทางจิตใจที่มั่นคงปลอดภัย เป็นเครื่องมือของสังคม การอนุรักษ์ ความเพลิดเพลินสวยงาม และบทบาทศิลปวัฒนธรรมประจำถิ่น
