A STUDY OF SANGHA ROLE IN COMMUNITY WELL-BEING DEVELOPMENT AT HADYAI DISTRIC, SONGKHLA PROVINCE

Abstract

The research study on the role of monks in developing community health in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province has the following objectives: 1) To study the concept and theory of community health development 2) To study the role of monks in developing community health in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province 3) To analyze the role of monks in developing community health in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province This study conducted qualitative research in the form of documents, along with in-depth interviews with 16 qualified persons.The results of the research found that: Community health development is the development of a community to have holistic health characteristics in all 4 aspects: physical health, mental health, social health, and intellectual health, so that the community is happy in living in society with the aim of having a quality life, which is considered the highest goal according to the concept of sustainable development.The role of monks in developing community health in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province Monks have played a role in developing community health by applying knowledge of health in various aspects, including Buddhist principles, to develop community health. They can develop community health in Hat Yai District. Songkhla Province has followed the guidelines for the role of monks in developing community health in Section 4 of the National Monk Health Charter B.E. 2566 by bringing knowledge about health into activities, teaching, and practicing as an example in the community. This has been continuously and tangibly done with cooperation from many sectors.Analysis of the role of monks in developing community health in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province is consistent with the guidelines of the National Monk Health Charter B.E. 2566 in Section 4. Monks have developed knowledge about health and applied this knowledge to develop community health, covering all four aspects of holistic health: physical health, mental health, social health, and intellectual health, continuously in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, for the complete health of the people and communities in their daily lives happily.

การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง ศึกษาบทบาทพระสงฆ์ในการพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชน อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา มีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้ 1) เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิดและทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชน 2) เพื่อศึกษาบทบาทพระสงฆ์ในการพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชน อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา 3) เพื่อวิเคราะห์บทบาทพระสงฆ์ในการพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชน อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา การศึกษานี้ได้ดำเนินการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแบบเอกสาร ร่วมกับการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 16 รูป/คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า: การพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชนคือการพัฒนาให้ชุมชนนั้น ๆ มีลักษณะสุขภาวะองค์รวมที่สมบูรณ์ทั้ง 4 ด้าน คือทั้งสุขภาวะทางกาย สุขภาวะทางจิต สุขภาวะทางสังคม และสุขภาวะทางปัญญา เพื่อให้ชุมชนเกิดความสุขในการดำรงชีวิตในสังคมโดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายในเรื่องการดำรงชีวิตอย่างมีคุณภาพ ซึ่งถือเป็นเป้าหมายสูงสุดตามแนวคิดในเรื่องของการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนบทบาทของพระสงฆ์ในการพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชน อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลานั้นพระสงฆ์ได้เข้ามามีบทบาทในการพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชนโดยนำองค์ความรู้ด้านสุขภาวะในด้านต่าง ๆ รวมถึงหลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนาเข้ามาประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชน โดยสามารถพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชนในพื้นที่อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลาได้ตามแนวทางการมีบทบาทของพระสงฆ์ในการพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชนในหมวดที่ 4 ของธรรมนูญสุขภาพพระสงฆ์แห่งชาติ พุทธศักราช 2566 โดยการนำองค์ความรู้ด้านสุขภาวะ เข้ามามีกิจกรรม สั่งสอน รวมถึงปฏิบัติให้เห็นเป็นตัวอย่างในชุมชน ปรากฏเป็นกิจกรรมอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นรูปธรรม ด้วยความร่วมมือจากหลาย ๆ ภาคส่วนวิเคราะห์บทบาทพระสงฆ์ในการพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชน อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา ได้มีความสอดคล้องกับแนวทางธรรมนูญสุขภาพพระสงฆ์แห่งชาติ พุทธศักราช 2566 ในหมวดที่ 4 โดย พระสงฆ์ได้มีการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ทางด้านสุขภาวะและนำองค์ความรู้มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาสุขภาวะชุมชน ครอบคลุมในเรื่องสุขภาวะองค์รวมทั้ง 4 ด้าน คือ สุขภาวะทางกาย สุขภาวะทางจิต สุขภาวะทางสังคมและสุขภาวะทางปัญญา อย่างต่อเนื่องในพื้นที่อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา เพื่อความสมบูรณ์ทางด้านสุขภาวะของประชาชนและชุมชนในการดำรงชีวิตประจำวันอย่างมีความสุข
