THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS’ SUMMARY WRITING ABILITY IN GRADE 9 CLASS NO. 1 USING GPAS 5 STEPS MODEL AND 5W1H AT MUNICIPAL SPORTS SCHOOL 2 WAT SAWANG KHONGKHA UNDER THE EDUCATION OFFICE OF KALASIN MUNICIPALITY

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1. to develop the summary writing ability of grade 9 class no. 1 students at municipal sports school 2 Wat Sawang Khongkha under the education office of Kalasin municipality by using the GPAS 5 Steps model integrated with the 5W1H technique, with the expected outcomes of achieving a post-instruction mean score of at least 70 percent and having at least 70 percent of the students meet the specified criterion; and 2. to investigate the students’ satisfaction toward learning management using the GPAS 5 Steps model integrated with the 5W1H technique. the target group consisted of 18 grade 9 class no. 1 students. The research instruments included: 1. lesson plans designed based on the GPAS 5 Steps model integrated with the 5W1H technique, 2. a summary writing ability test, and 3. a student satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and percentage. Research Findings 1. The results of the assessment of summary writing ability using the GPAS 5 Steps model integrated with the 5W1H technique among 18 grade 9 class no. 1 students at Municipal Sports school 2 Wat Sawang Khongkha, with a total score of 60, revealed that the students achieved a mean score of 45.94, equivalent to 76.57 percent of the full score. Fourteen students, representing 77.78 percent of the total number of students, met the established criteria. These results exceeded the predetermined criteria and were consistent with the stated research objectives. 2. The overall satisfaction of grade 9 class no. 1 students at municipal Sports School 2 Wat Sawang Khongkha toward learning management using the GPAS 5 Steps model integrated with the 5W1H technique was at the highest level, with a mean score of 4.86 and a standard deviation of 0.28.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อการพัฒนาความสามารถการเขียนย่อความ โดยใช้ GPAS 5 Steps ร่วมกับ 5W1H ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3/1 โรงเรียนกีฬาเทศบาล 2 วัดสว่างคงคา สังกัดสำนักการศึกษาเทศบาลเมืองกาฬสินธุ์ ให้มีคะแนนหลังเรียนเฉลี่ยร้อยละ 70 และมีนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 ขึ้นไป 2) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3/1 โรงเรียนกีฬาเทศบาล 2 วัดสว่างคงคา สังกัดสำนักการศึกษาเทศบาลเมืองกาฬสินธุ์ ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ GPAS 5 Steps ร่วมกับ 5W1H กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3/1 จำนวน 18 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ 1. แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 2. แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถการเขียนย่อความ 3. แบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ ค่าเฉลี่ยน ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าร้อยละผลการวิจัย1. ผลวัดความสามารถการเขียนย่อความ โดยใช้ GPAS 5 Steps ร่วมกับ 5W1H ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3/1 โรงเรียนกีฬาเทศบาล 2 วัดสว่างคงคา จำนวน 18 คน มีคะแนน 60 คะแนน พบว่านักเรียนมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 45.94 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 76.57 ของคะแนนเต็ม และมีจำนวนนักเรียนผ่านเกณฑ์ 14 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 77.78 ของจำนวนนักเรียนทั้งหมด ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้และเป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ที่ตั้งไว้2. ความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3/1 โรงเรียนกีฬาเทศบาล 2 วัดสว่างคงคา ต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ โดยใช้ GPAS 5 Steps ร่วมกับ 5W1H ภาพรวมนักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจระดับมากที่สุด มีค่าเฉลี่ย เท่ากับ 4.86 และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 0.28
