DEMOCRATIC POLITICAL CULTURE OF THE PEOPLE IN SRI SONG RAK SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, MUEANG DISTRICT, LOEI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis are as follows: 1) to investigate the extent of democratic political culture among the residents of the Srisongrak Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang District, Loei Province; 2) to compare the democratic political culture of the residents of the Srisongrak Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang District, Loei Province, classified by individual characteristics; and 3) to investigate methods for the development of democratic political culture among the residents of the Srisongrak Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang District, Loei Province. The sample consisted of 381 A questionnaire that was developed utilizing the Taro Yamane formula served as the study instrument. Questionnaires were used to gather data. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing with t-test, independent, and one-way variance (ANOVA) were among the pre-made statistics used to examine the data.The findings of the study showed that 1) there is a high degree of agreement in the democratic political culture of the people living in the Srisongrak Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang District, Loei Province. 2) Marital status, gender, age, employment, education level, and monthly income were used to classify eligible voters. Divergent viewpoints exist on democratic political culture. 3) Belief in democratic values is one of the recommendations. The law and common rules are valued by people. People get involved in politics. By utilizing their right to vote, voicing their thoughts, and understanding their civic responsibilities, people show that they are involved. Individuals are conscious of their societal obligations, such as abiding by the law, filing taxes, and maintaining public property. They are hopeful and trusting.

สารนิพนธ์นี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาระดับวัฒนธรรมทางการเมืองแบบประชาธิปไตยของประชาชนในองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลศรีสองรัก อำเภอเมืองเลย จังหวัดเลย 2) เปรียบเทียบวัฒนธรรมทางการเมืองแบบประชาธิปไตยของประชาชนในองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลศรีสองรัก อำเภอเมืองเลย จังหวัดเลย จำแนกตามลักษณะส่วนบุคคล และ 3) เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาวัฒนธรรมทางการเมืองแบบประชาธิปไตยของประชาชนในองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลศรีสองรัก อำเภอเมืองเลย จังหวัดเลย กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ ได้กำหนดมาจากจำนวนผู้มีสิทธิ์เลือกตั้งที่มีภูมิลำเนาอยู่ในองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลศรีสองรัก อำเภอเมืองเลย จังหวัดเลยจำนวน 381 คน โดยการใช้สูตรทาโร ยามาเน่ เครื่องมือในการวิจัยที่เป็นแบบสอบถาม เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยแบบสอบถาม นำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์ด้วยสถิติ ประเภทสำเร็จรูป ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ทดสอบสมมติด้วยสถิติ t-test Independent และความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (ANOVA) ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) วัฒนธรรมทางการเมืองแบบประชาธิปไตยของประชาชนในองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลศรีสองรัก อำเภอเมืองเลย จังหวัดเลย มีวัฒนธรรมทางการเมืองแบบประชาธิปไตยมีระดับที่เห็นด้วยมาก 2) ประชาชนที่มีสิทธิ์ในการเลือกตั้งที่มี สถานภาพสมรส เพศ อายุ ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ และรายได้ต่อเดือน แตกต่างกันมีความเห็นวัฒนธรรมทางการเมืองแบบประชาธิปไตยไม่แตกต่างกัน และ 3) ข้อเสนอแนะ คือความเชื่อมั่นศรัทธาต่อหลักการปกครองระบอบประชาธิปไตย ประชาชนมีความเข้าใจและยอมรับในหลักการพื้นฐานของระบอบประชาธิปไตย ความยึดมั่นเชื่อถือในหลักความสำคัญของศักดิ์ศรีความเป็นมนุษย์ ประชาชนให้ความเคารพในสิทธิ เสรีภาพ ความเท่าเทียมของทุกคน ความเคารพกติกาการปกครองระบอบประชาธิปไตย ประชาชนให้ความสำคัญกับกฎหมายและกติกาที่ใช้ร่วมกัน การมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมทางการเมือง ประชาชนแสดงออกถึงการมีส่วนร่วม เช่น การไปใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้ง การแสดงความคิดเห็น จิตสำนึกในหน้าที่พลเมืองของตนเอง ประชาชนตระหนักถึงหน้าที่ของตนในสังคม ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการปฏิบัติตามกฎหมาย การเสียภาษี การดูแลทรัพยากรสาธารณะ การไว้วางใจและการมองโลกในแง่ดี
